I too took the babies out today, All went just fine. First I took the Browns out and let them run around the run. The older chickens did great! Then I got them to go into the coop, and I closed the door so I could go get the other 4 chicks. When I felt the one week old's had enough I took them back into the house. I sat on the coop floor and played with the browns for a bit.
After they ate a snack, I took them too back into the house.
As Soon as the got out of the box they got a drink and sacked out. Lololoo

What a wonderful day! I'm glad you had time to spend with them like this. I know how busy your day can be. I frequently exhausted just looking at your list! 😆

Well I managed to keep Rosie out for at least 2 hours today, not sure exactly. The last half hour involved a lot of whining and the occasional tug on my pant leg, but good over all.
Rosie and Brenna got in some good bath napping

With the break in the rain this became top priority. It was only 63ish out but the chicks were so busy they didnt mind. It is important they get use to the coop, run and older hens. the One week olds did not get to run loose, I think they are to small especially the reds.
