Cluckle Hut Update

I got the window cut out, framed, wired, removed the wire from the run walls.

Wire cut off the run walls. Notice the fine oak trim I used for the Phyllistines. U also cut the center stud to accept the window.

No sooner was I done then my phone went off. Severe thunderstorm warning.

The mad scramble to put everything away was on.

I rigged the window into the wall, filled the run and shed with wood and tools and made it inside just in time. I stapled cardboard over the open nest box. Hopefully that will keep most of the rain out.

My “spider sense “ 🕷 was a storm? I guess that’s a good thing then.

Somehow I confused myself over the placement of the Cluckle Hut. I always knew it would be in the run, but somehow I thought it was going to back on to the Fluffy Butt coop. It looks like it's end on to the run, with the human door on one side, a gap in the other, then the big coop.

That is correct. I guess I don't explain things well.

Where do you live? Sorry if you already posted that. I’m in California, where fire season started early, too. And I’m pretty sure this year’s drought is breaking records.
