I'm going through about 170 pictures I took this evening. The silkies are horrible to get a good picture of as most turn out blurry, but look at this one of Branch. He is a handsome young man.

Glad to hear! I think I am at about 6" and it is forecast to keep raining through the night and most of tomorrow. I am very thankful for the hill otherwise I would be building an ark.

It's still raining here just gently. I think the heavy stuff is raining out over you and it is out of punch when it gets here.

Squirrel and Creamy's last full sibling. As far as hatch down goes it is very similar to squirrels. Squirrel had a bit more red on her head as a chick, but I think when its grown it will look very similar to her.

I will agree with that. They are constantly on the move when they are not in my lap. My dad still thinks they are ugly, but right now, my ugly chickens are helping me the most with the healing process.

This group of photo's is of Bunny and her chicks. There are 8 chicks total. 7 of them are full Marans and 1 is a repeat of the Butter x Drumstick cross. They are 4 days old now and started hatching the morning I lost Drumstick.

I so very happy for you to have these youngins! I hope they help you to heal.
