See and here I was thinking I was crazy. At first I was not too keen on on the name "Bubba" when mom chose it. Then that evening she had Pandora playing and the song "Bubba shot the Jukebox." played. That song sold me on his name and I declared that it was his song. Mom told me I was nuts for giving a chicken a theme song.

I pray that Bubba lives a very long life, and brings you happiness always!

No way can I send my ladies to college! Only way I can, is if I trade eggs for tuition! And that just won’t happen!

Thank you. For both mine and Rosie's sake I hope both Bubba and Basil live long happy lives, and that they can co-exist. As far as breeding stock goes I think Bubba may end up being the better specimen. But Rosie is attached to Basil and I know how special that bond is with a rooster. I will not deny her that gift of friendship.

Oh and her test results are in, she's positive for covid. She still only has sinus infection like symptoms with a headache and fatigue bothering her the most. My dad on the other hand woke up yesterday morning feeling like he had the flu. By 8pm last night he had a fever of 102 so he went and got tested this morning. Positive of course. So besides my brother it has hit every family member here in the house. Hopefully soon this nightmare will be over.

I have a very special bond with Jaffar, my rooster. And he has eleven ladies also. He makes my whole tribe well and healthy! I’m not discounting BEN, or BLU, or even my beloved Peeps, that I miss very much.

Quarantine. And use the computer for school! Better than a school room anyways! The teachers smell like chalkboards anyways!
