I did make extra steak for the chickenslots of fluids. Plus vitamins, and fresh squeezed Orange juice. Steak and eggs for breakfast (and I can taste it too)![]()
Lovely names! I’m particularly taken by “Flurry”Here is the list of names me and Rosie came up with for the new girls. Now some of these may change as we get to know them better and their true personalities show themselves.
Pickles, Flurry, Minnie Pearl or Pearl for short, Posie, Griffin, and Lola. Pickles and Pearl are the 2 names I chose and 2 of the girls will be named that. The other 4 are debatable still between Rosie and mom.
The problem we have here is dog's being trapped. Two trapped in a shed at the back and left like this since Friday, the one dog is barking from morning until morning everytime I go outside he's begging for help, his bark is now getting squeaky. You are most fortunate. I have a perimeter fence that keeps mine safe from wandering dogs.
Good man.lots of fluids. Plus vitamins, and fresh squeezed Orange juice. Steak and eggs for breakfast (and I can taste it too)![]()
I have. Silver (lead hen) alerted over the neighbor's cat hanging out in the trees the pullets would hang in(@8 weeks). Cat wouldn't leave, so Rusty came up by the kitchen window (open) and echoed her bok-boks. His are what drew my attention which brought us out. Cat still wouldn't leave...until I applied the hose, nozzle end first...Side bar: Has anyone's rooster, ever sing an "egg song" or something similar?
Jaffar was bok bok bok bc-cocking, earlier. Should I be worried?![]()
I like Flurry for a name as well. Now I just have to figure out which hen is laying the tiny egg. That one is supposed to be Flurry. Before she came up with Flurry, Rosie was tossing out names such as "Icy, snowy, and such". All which were hard no's until she said flurry. That one works, and she can have "Cluck Flurry" as a nick name.Lovely names! I’m particularly taken by “Flurry”
Just a couple days and the weather will be really nice.Ooooh - yes - that will be cool. OK, I am on a mission. It is 80% humidity out there right now so I might wait until it is a little cooler to try and capture it.
