Had this fella waiting for me when I closed to coop door.

Surprisingly Belle ate him, Snow is the resident spider eater, maybe Belle needs more protein.
I say this because over the last week or so I’ve been finding a few of these…

Maybe she is having a weirdly early moult if I take into account the fluff feathers in the nest box. She’s about 11 months old. And it’s spring here so a little strange if so.
:barnie They always keep you guessing, I’ll just ride it out a bit longer and keep watching…she is my strange baby girl I guess so anything is possible.
That spider is really creepy. How big was it? That is a great photograph of it!

Being highly allergic to all sorts of things : perfumes, powder, most make up, synthetic fabrics, certain plants does not help @ all. 🤣
I can relate! Found out that thread isn't included in fabric content because "there's not enough of it to be a problem". 2 words: surged seams. Making clothes became a necessary thing.

Also found out that dryer sheets are made of polyester.

If his legs were out straight he would have covered the palm of my hand (3&1/2 inch maybe).
Maybe what I found were tiny baby huntsmans and he was a she 🤔
Yes, it was all over within 5 seconds I reckon 😂
That is too big for my liking. Eeck!

Well, shoot. I hate posting this. Ruby was drained just last Saturday. She had a GREAT few days! But she is indeed swelling up again and tonight she is back on her shelf. I’m a bit heartbroken. I really, really don’t want to have her euthanized. However, her little body might not be giving us a choice. I have a very busy weekend and the avian vet is closed Monday, so it would be Tuesday at the earliest. Sorry to be such a downer after all these months of helping her along, but I’m so sad about this. I had hoped her little molt would turn off her hormones and buy us some more time. 💔
I am very sorry to hear this. :hugs :hugs :hugs I have faith that you will do what is best for her.

She is having a good nap this morning. Hopefully she is willing to share the couch as she gets older because I'm starting to worry that she will be so big I won't be able to tell her what to do at some point.
She's a cat. You can't tell them what to do with any degree of certainty that they actually do it anyway. :lau
