I didn’t use my beak, Gezz!! (Poop happens, and who you gonna call?)

Someone, was it Emily? Had this problem before, didn't they? I'm new, but I think of pasty butt as a chick problem, not an adult chicken thing. Was her vent actually plugged and she couldn't go, or did she have such an accumulation on feathers and skin her vent was irritated and uncomfortable and she didn't like going? Things look normal now back there?
