She's had to fend off "helpful" pecks grooming those shoulder pins coming out. "Thanks, no, please don't"
(Popcorn tries again)
"I said, no. Really, I'm fine!"
(Popcorn pecks lightly again)
"Hey! No! I mean it! Enough!" (Peanut gives Popcorn two pecks on her face, Popcorn finally stops)
Pin feathers are irresistible!
Reminds me of certain relatives who want to "helpfully" squeeze your pimples for you..

I don’t purposely tease or harass anyone. I do get a little upset when I don’t get the attention that is required (medications, pain relievers, or the food that was promised) the staff at that particular hospital, has a major communications problems between shift changes. That said, there were two nurses that were excellent at picking up the pieces of others. And certainly helped me during my visit. They get a thumbs up from me!:thumbsup
I had a prolonged stay in hospital as a young child. This hospital didn't have a good rep either and some of the nurses lacked.... empathy with kids.

I suppose it's like that rhyme of the girl with the curl
"When she was good she was very, very good but when she was bad she was horrid"

Maggie’s therapy
I am working on what I can do something about with Maggie. If she either had leg weakness caused by some deficiency (probably from not eating commercial food) or something like a stroke, then physical therapy might help.
So I rigged up a sure fire Maggie physio mechanism.
Here you see her balancing on a log and standing on tippy toe while reaching up high. I think she is doing rather well.
She will do pretty much anything for an ear of corn!
Brilliant idea RC. :clap

I've saw pictures floating around facebook of chickens in Christmas Hats. I wanted a picture of Branch and Poppy in a Santa Hat. Next time, I think the smart thing will be to photoshop on a hat. They were great sports about the whole thing although Poppy wanted to eat the tree and both immediately tried to shake off the hat every time it was placed on their heads.

The usual suspects are back!

The girls haven't been roosting here much since Tsuki died.
It's nice to have their company again while I peruse BYC. 🥰

It’s really okay. I trust you my, BYC friends, with information about my life and circumstances that I find myself in. That’s why I share it with you. (Kinda hard to sleep well tonight) :idunno

Or at least mostly empty (she was eating, but hadn't STUFFED it...yet)

Hops up on the roost every evening, preens, hops back down, eats more, has some water, hops back up, preens some more, sleeps, first off the roost, eats, then has breakfast with the rest outside....
She's really a Hobbit.

"We've had first breakfast, yes, but what about second breakfast?"
