Yes I try that too. Last time the Verizon guy was really sweet and treated me like his senile grandmother (which I could easily have been). I played into that role with gusto!

When I'm asking for help I sound like one of the the old ladies that scam baiters use too trap the scammers.

Just wanted to share a video I took yesterday; the Willy Wagtails were giving the crows some aggro. There’s chickens in there too so I don’t owe tax.

My girls chase them or magpies off if they ever dare land in our yard, run at them and jump, feet out! Your girls are much more accommodating

I have a real problem. Arizona is not being accepted back into the tribe. She stays by herself and runs away from the others. I’m letting her stay with me in the house. She’s a good little lady and I cannot understand why she’s being treated like this? I have tried several times to help integrate her with her other chooks (I have failed)

I always thank them for their contribution when I get their eggs my mum tells me I am nuts hahaha.

I thank them too...individually even off I don't know who laid which. I also thank Cheetah (or any of the roos) for looking out for the girls.

Remind me where you are again, @rural mouse? I’m in California (San Francisco Bay area… Santa Cruz Mountains), and we’re in the worst drought in California history. But we’ve had a really good start to the rainy season this year and I’m hopeful we’ll pull out of it. Fingers crossed!

Continental divide area of Montana. we're getting snow and promptly losing it again. Glad you're getting rain as we get all the smoke from fires from the Bay area all the way up to the southern bit of Alaska, depending on how the jet stream shifts.
