Somehow with being so out of it I totally missed the forecast and see we got 6" or so overnight. Shame I never got to fit the car into the garage!
The Roadrunners have no interest in even exploring their covered runs - they get a light dusting from wind blowing the snow in and the precious ladies took one look and went back inside.
Maggie and Diana are made of sterner stuff and are out in the pasture run which has a hardware cloth cover so gets real snow and a lot of melt. Maggie's favorite thing is to snap the icicles off the ceiling and eat them!

I just gave some chopped up hotdogs and ramen noodles to Beetov-Hen she tried her best to eat it. Her throat must be sore she coughs a lot.

The two friends have reunited again. i havent posted about it here because i wasnt sure it was to major to post about, but i think its worth mentioning now. so Isbe and emily (the giant and the small girl) have been in a feud recently. Emily was quite sad because that was her best friend and i guess in turn took a bit of her anger out on rizo. So here we are, a little bully triangle with rizo bullying isbe isbe bullying emily and emily bullying rizo. this all started with isbe laying her first egg because it got her a little grumpy. It did get better, its not like she beat up on emily, but she did ignore her and wouldnt go with her like she did before, leaving emily wandering the woods alone while rizo and isbe buddied up. Today it looks like their back to normal and emily is very happy. emily seems to test her luck and will attempt to scoot next to isbe, and isbe will usually walk away. But now their fine and seem to be back to normal. isbe let emily groom her face and their all good. sorry for all the words and that was probably very confusing. I thought it just might be a interesting story to share, anyway i think Rizo is about to lay her first egg. Phew! That was long!

Did you say you did proof reading? I wanted to join a local book club but probably me being silly I felt really awkward. Plus I found the subjects given I really couldn't relate too. I guess I will never write but i would still like to have a bash

Thank you. I did a home test for Covid just in case (negative) but I think it is a side effect of the month of antibiotics I was on for Lyme. Really nasty gastritis with a lot of pain and vomiting every hour or so.
Not something I am prone to so a bit scary as well as miserable.
I am turning the corner as I managed to keep down a third of a plain boiled potato since last night though the cramps continue.
I am maintaining electrolyte and hopefully fluid balance by sipping the Gatorade that I originally got for Minnie!

I hope you recover soon. You have had it bad lately with the inner ear problems as well. Are you still feeling dizzy?

Oh same! It said it felt like 1 degree last night (but was 20 degrees) and its snowed 7+ inches. yikes. Beautiful picture!
