Awesome hahaha nope not had chickens in trucks yet....

Had bears in the trucks on work sites though! And one got in the office trailers, got photos of it checking out the photocopier haha

I tried to get a photo of Rose testing out my lawn tractor steering wheel as a roost....
And something about “chickens in choppers “ :gig

😂 I had the same problem when calling the shops about our trucks! Or anything else for that matter… “is that a chicken???” Yes, and if you would like one, I can bring you a rooster or two… but do you also have this issue?

I have to disconnect the battery when I park, it’s old and there’s a phantom load… leave the door open for 2 seconds and they are in! I alway have any guests check their vehicles for chickens before leaving… they will hop in open windows, backs of trucks, and you dare not leave a trunk or hatch back open!
What is it with chickens and cars? My birds love to take rides with me. :idunno:old

I’m looking for a great barbecue sauce recipe. Does anyone make their own recipes? (This is not taxable, because it could involve chickens, but not my chickens.) ?
I have a good recipe that I start with then modify according to what I want that day. The base recipe is sweet with a touch of twang and a little heat. Message back if you want to try it.

Have you tried your local Craigslist?
No need! Today DH said he’d build me a coop to save money. Yay! I’m so excited! I will be right alongside him so it turns out how I want. 😊 I know with absolute certainty the quality will be good, as he does very good work. I just don’t want him trying to control the size. I want an absolute minimum of 6x8. He has these wooden stages I’d like to use as a floor, so that might dictate the exact dimensions.

The Cat and the hen are cuties!

I've encountered carnage like that once. My brother-in-law, a carpenter, gave me a coop he had made for my niece that she no longer needed. It had a plastic corrugated roof...but NOTHING under the roof. I had it 2 days...and a racoon pulled the roofing up (broke it at a screw-head) enough to get in...all 18 of my pullets dead. It was not a pretty sight! :hit
Terrible thing was, as we were moving it into place, I commented that there should be some welded wire under the roof panel. His reply was: she's used it for 2 years. Nothing will get in there! I should have listened to my own instinct...it was totally my fault.:he😢:he
:hugs :hugs :hugs
