It's Back!

64°F (17.7°C) yesterday and the ladies and I woke up to this in the morning!

The drop door is up and the tribe is mixing today.

Poor Phyllis, still getting pecked around and having to do evasive maneuvers, just for being interested in the feeder! There is no rest for her.

Have real guilt where they r concerned, darn hard lesson learnt. They were the ones killed by a fox - now I don't let anyone roam too far for too long.

They make me feel guilty every Sunday morning, when I need to get ready and go to church. (They whine and cry wanting out of the coop) but it’s safer for them to stay inside until I return. Don’t they know, that when I get home, they get fresh new meally worms to snack on? It’s a tough life being a chicken daddy sometimes!

I would love to get another silkie Roo but not if I have Pangoo, not fair to him.

But they sure were cute with their fluffy feathers and fluffy legs hahaha .
