The girls say Hi Jaffar!“Wow did I have a busy day today. I had my ladies following me around everywhere. I’m glad my human buddy brought home some meally worms, and I was able to take a break for a while! Daddy says he wants to bring me inside tonight, to clean my beak again, but I totally hate that! “ “and hello to you BYC ladies too”

That's why my sister got geese, apparently they haven't been bothered since they have grown up.I have a friend who has two goats and he is besotted with them. He keeps sending me cute pictures in the spirit of 'how could you not have some of these?'.
The geese idea comes from friends who are worried about predator attacks on the chickens. Apparently geese can scare almost anything. No idea if that is true.
Yes, and once they get a taste of chicken...they keep coming back. Had a colleague who had that problem....I agree. @RoyalChick had one trying to get in the chicken Palace once.
Had neighbors one place we lived who had a grizzly break into their horse feed shed. Another neighbor (same area) had huskies....afraid to go outside at night....fish and game had to come trap the guy: LARGE boar griz. Meanwhile, the black bear watching the construction on a house was left alone. That little one (compared to the griz) would perch in a tree watching the crew....almost daily....Holy cow! Ok that's it electric all around my barn too!
Those look just like your kitty's prints....but larger, and lynx and cougar larger still.I'm gonna say Bobcat.
No pryblem! Everyone maks mysteaks!Edited to correct typo! Thanks for catching that![]()
They would love your pool, too. check out Sebastopol geese. they're kinda the goose equivalent of a frizzle.Wow. You really are an enabler.
Here you have me reading up about geese. I need my head examined!
Thank you. Pure fluke. She was being a noisy brat, but I liked the height/light. I have another one saved for the right moment...This second photo looks like a Norman Rockwell picture! Lovely![]()
