I just want to say thank you again to everyone, for all the support, understanding, and kindness… I’m kicking myself (just a little) for not coming back on sooner. I felt bad about how things were going, embarrassed and upset about the house situation. After my Dad even loaned me the cash for the guys that didn’t even show up, I literally avoided calling him for over four months. My Chicken friends here all sort of fell into that same avoidance cycle. If I don’t log on I don’t need to let anyone know how bad things are. It literally took a slightly disreputable tow truck driver calling me out on my trucks condition to kick me in the backside and get me doing things again.

Mate, as I said, I could only hope to be as resilient as you have proved to be time and time again 💜

LOL, it's only been day 1 of lock-down. Deep breath, relax....

Then grab a chair so you can sit & look 24/7:lau:lau🤗🤗
Staring at them 24/7 might get me in less trouble then what I'm currently contemplating. A facebook friend, who breeds show silkies posted about a raffle to help a fellow breeder who lost almost everything in a barn fire. So far 16 really good silkie breeders are offering up 1 to 2 dozen hatching eggs to the raffle winners shipping included. At 10 per ticket, my brain is telling me buy a chance or two, what is the worst that can happen.

Indeed. How can more chickens ever be the "worst" that could happen?
