Hilarious. It’s raining out now, and I have my two beautiful redheaded ladies inside with me. We are listening to scary/strange carousel music (the birds are mesmerized)!! :lau:gig:love Everybody else is in the coop (high and dry) View attachment 3030313
I told them (as long as they behave, they can stay in the house) for now.

And for me the best part of this story is that I am not the only crazy person who goes out digging for worms for my chickens!

No your not. I do not mind digging for worms for the chickens. My crew loves them, if they find and dig them up themselves. If I offer them a worm, they turn it down. That is why I thought it would be safe to walk away from my container as they had already as usual turned them down when offered. I'm using the worms as treats for the chicks to build up trust with Ezzie's sisters who for some reason are still skeptical of me. I think they still remember almost 2 1/2 weeks of butt cleaning and hold a grudge. When they are just a little older, maybe another week I will offer them everyone's favorite treat of raisins.
