Don’t stress CB, just a bit of silliness. What is everyone talking about??????????? Plus, looks like nobody's name has changed one bit.
Obviously totally confused over here. 15-20 pages behind, so just plugging along....
SHRA!It was an April Fool’s joke. Nobody has to change their name, they were just kidding.
I’m currently reading “Critical Thinking Skills for Dummies”, maybe it was rubbing off!As an IT geek I figured it was a prank, best way to secure things is with good passwords.... Letter number special characters all mixed together....L1k3_Th!$![]()
I’m glad to know, that I have such wonderful influence on you my friend! No problem - it just happened to be that your last check in about everybody getting their name changed did me in!![]()
Okay, I will look forward to seeing your setup. My new welded wire fence is 4ft. I could have bought 5ft high, but I wanted to match the rest of the yard. Gonna grow a garden where the chooks can’t get into it.@featherhead007
Alex I put up my electric mesh fencing today, and noted that Buttercup was trying to get out, she was quite anxious. I noted then Blanche was missing....
I went and found her, thinking I had missed corralling her. I put her inside the penned in area and went about my business. Next thing Buttercup is again having a fit! There was Blanche outside the fencing again! She flew up onto the horse fence and over it the brat!!
I will have to put some mesh up to stop her from escaping. In the meantime I am getting some exercise chasing her fluffy butt around
Let me know how your fence works, I will take a pic of mine tomorrow so you have an idea of what I am up against.
Mine will jump onto something 4’ high but the won’t simply fly over that height if they can’t land. My electric fence is only 40” and they don’t try and fly over it, whereas they fly up 48” to roost.
So what you need is to fit a thin but visible wire a couple of inches above the fence so they know they can’t land on it.
I read of that trick somewhere on BYC but can’t for the life of me remember where.
I had high hopes for them but they just haven't panned out.Sadly they are not my favourite girls. They are Vorwerks, a German breed. I have found them very dominant [not a good fit for my tribe] & not particularly hardy. I won't ever get them again.
I Hope you can grow a garden that they don't get into. Mine always find a way, especially if it has kale in it!Okay, I will look forward to seeing your setup. My new welded wire fence is 4ft.
