They check out everything. Heads left to right: Mera, Primula, Belladonna, and Asphodel. Hector and Nox are behind.

Preening, stretching, eating, drinking, and jump racing in spurts are exhausting, so napping still happens at random seeming moments.

Oooooooh I’m angry at Jaffar! Poor little Coco has lost feathers on her head because Jaffar pulls on her back and head when being a rooster!
Coco is a beautiful little lady, and doesn’t deserve such bad treatment.
Princess is pecking Tina's feathers and I'm trying to think of ways of separating them at bedtime

Well in the chicken world I am thinking Coco isn't worried about it...

And I bet Jaffar thinks she's beautiful just the way she is 🤗

Oh how I miss babies 🤗💖

Raccoons can even open these kinds of latches.

BFTP:

Actually, that is the best kind of lock - that particular type of barrel bolt. See the hole on the right side of the latch bracket? If the barrel bolt is closed...you can put a carabiner through the hole to prevent the 'barrel' being pushed back (to right) and opened!!! I love these!! I've had trouble recently finding ones with the hole lately, unless they are super big. :(

I don’t think anyone would have reported you, I suspect the moderators periodically did a search for ‘April Fool’ and deleted the posts that came up.
I think they flagged the site and if any April Fools was typed it was 'quarantined' I had a few that happened to.

Road trip...

And the reveal... Yes it is 2 legs and feathers 💖

This is Marty, a yr old black silkie hen; her previous home has 4 other beautiful ladies but she didn't fit in. She was being picked on.

It was a long drive, but worth it, Marty is a real sweetie pie. I had planned on keeping her seperate but as there were only 4 hens I felt safe letting her integrate with my herd of Raptors.

I threw some scratch down, let her out of the crate and she marched right into the group and joined in the fun.
