One of the chicks at the MIL looks like she did. Still scratching my head over that as She went broody when I started collecting eggs, so I didn't take any from her nest. I'll take pics when it has enough feathers to see what the adult plumage will be, but at a guess, laced and pencilled somehow.

I have 1 more after this one, my feather footed fancier. Last night, they all piled into one box again. Playing which head goes to which body in this mess is fun!View attachment 3104643

They are all gorgeous...so I guess it doesn't matter which goes with which...though it would make and excellent jigsaw puzzle!

I’m going to go see Chaco today. Deliver her apples and meet with the caretaker.
Sadly, I’m in a little pain now from my back. But I will be okay

@RebeccaBoyd Is Daisy having difficulty breathing? Can pain be managed with something to give you a bit of time to figure out what to do (with consults from the vet), and her better quality of life until you figure out what it is...and if she can be saved or not?
