I give baby aspirin, 81 mg to my smaller pups for pain.Way to risky I'm sad to say. He's had a bad reaction to an antibiotic as well as a good one. His gum is a lot better but it has seriously hurt his joints. I'm hoping it will ease in time, he could tolerate the arthritis he had but this https://www.innovetpet.com/blogs/medications/previcox-for-dogs would cause too many problems.
I read up on holistic arnica, we have to be careful but 30c 3 times a day is okay apparently.
He's had 2 so far and and two hours after his first he had a turmeric vegan capsule with ginger then some olive oil as he's now having poo problems
The good news is he's hurting and not in the agony he has been since this morning.I can get him a little better soon he's my little love
Thanks so much for your thoughtsI really appreciate it

Ditto!I am always happy for updates on Minnie and Bernadette if you want to share the latest developments.
Exactly! Whoever said chickens are dumb clearly wasn't trained by the conniving little buggers!Viejo hangs around outside my kitchen door waiting for me to come out then he'll walk over to the container of wild bird seed. He has me trained quite well.![]()
Chickens are just as conniving and smart as cats. Before you realize it while you think your training them, they have turned you into their personal slaves.Exactly! Whoever said chickens are dumb clearly wasn't trained by the conniving little buggers!![]()

Please let us know how it goes this afternoon. Thinking of you and Minnie. No new news since last night. She continues distended - I think a bit less but that may be wishful thinking. She continues to smell like a brewery and when I massage I can hear the bubbles. She has good color and has some energy.
I am going to let her out of confinement for a few hours this afternoon - I think it is important for her mental health but I am quite worried she will pig out and will make her problem worse. The miconazole treatment isn't too hard to give but it has to go on for a full week twice a day so that will get old for both of us pretty fast!
