I've lost two this past year and I honestly feel I let Amber down dreadfully but as for Agatha, I know I couldn't possibly have saved her but managed too prolong her life by a few weeks and the majority of that time she really enjoyed, thanks too flexi
Agatha was well past two years of age when I got her, in all that time caged up with so many other chickens with no room too move already done it's damage
Yes our girls can be robust but like us humans they will have their weaknesses and the same said some will be weaker than others both in the wild and domestic.
Please don't beat yourself up. I'm really sorry for your losses but you still have the other little beauties![]()
