Treats, Bob. You know how to do this. Everything I know about tame chickens I learnt from you. I'm so sorry you are feeling discouraged but remember, I've usually done pullets rather than chicks & most of mine are friendly. I was totally mobbed when I took out the kitchen scraps this morning. Quarrantine is always hard but was it Ponypoor who offered some really good advice about spending time with them.? You just need to think outside the box a bit.:hugs
I think that the littles will be jumping all over Bob in no time at all!

Took a break from vacuming and sat on the back steps. Raven knows there are more shrimp and cranberries inside. I'm sorry girl, you all have had your limit for treats today. She is not amused or agreeable to that thought.

Come on! It’s Raven (you can sneak a few more for Raven)

Hopefully, but if those eggs are not fertile, poor Xzit is going to be disappointed 😔
Not as disappointed as the two of us I bet!

If they are duds then she will just get up one day and go about her business.

I’m just letting her do her chickeny thing. I will attempt candling the eggs tomorrow. Right now, I have seven chooks inside. And I think that they want to see a movie 🎥 :idunno

.... meanwhile the two of us will be very disappointed ☹️

I am living vicariously through you don't you know!

You wont see anything but if they are good they will be completely dark with an air sac at one end.....

But it might be best to just leave them be, if they are good then moving them around could disturbed a chick that is attempting to hatch and could damage of kill the chick.

I would just sit in my hands and do nothing, xzit knows what to do, and if by Monday there is no action then you can carefully candle.

Sounds reasonable

You would not have wanted these shrimp. I do not know how long they have been in grandma's freezer but it has been awhile. It was either feed them to the chickens or let my brother use them while fishing. He's going on his kayak and I was not invited so the chickens won.
Good call hahaha 😁 that'll learn him!
