Oh no that’s sad poor wee fella, likely terrified!

Not sure why they don’t at least halter break these guys, it makes it so much easier to work with them if they are not stressed

Thankfully for now yes. I just heard from one of my uncles that water got up 3 feet into his house but he and his family are ok. Mom just headed down to the barn to check it out. The ground is saturated, and even though water has not gotten into the stalls, it is a mess, especially Louis. We were just offered to move all 3 temporarily down there. To be honest, we probably will but that brings up another headache. The barn has been known to flood as well so even if they are moved, instead of looking out the living room window, we will be taking walks down there to check on the situation.

My facebook is flooded with horrible pictures of the devastation from the flooding. I will spare you all those. I have to share this one, a strange visitor at one of the local elementary schools. Sadly his 2 herd mates did not survive the flooding. His owners are trying to catch him now but he is untamed and they have been at it for hours this morning.
