My dad was in Italy when the war ended. (WW2) and a bunch of Italian guys were having coffee, they were all talking very loud, and my dad chimed in “Sacramento California “ the looks on those Italian faces could have stopped time itself! Glad that dad was in uniform at the time!

No it was a virus - I can’t remember the actual virus but it’s type of herpes virus (you know like the one causing chicken pox) there are so many of these out there, even horses are affected by this class of virus. She was such a strong beautiful pullet.

Isn't there a a cure for herpes last I read there was one they were experimenting with
