It can be so very very hard.

Crying is good. It is good to feel deeply. I know it hurts but it will pass and you will be left with the memories of the happy times. Give yourself time to grieve and the grace to do so.

Dakota is inside with me tonight. (No surprise) but her wing isn’t doing so good. I gave her some baby aspirin and pieces of steak. Hopefully she’ll be good for the night.
