She is a cutie pie. I just pray that she keeps getting better every day. She worries me so.

Yes I hear ya. But you know, she seems to be thriving, and she is gaining weight.

Chickens are like people, some are slow, some are off the wall crazy, some smart, some wild…. She seems to be marching to her own drum and that’s ok. I have a couple like that, Penelope is slow and methodical, she never runs very fast, and she seems dumb as a. Stump until you watch her - then I realize she is smart as a whip, and is a thinker, which is why she is the queen bee, she might be slow and all, but she knows she is the boss!

Gucci seems to not be bothered by things, she doesn’t appear to do drama- now Glynda appears to be the one to get up to things and Lady Featherington just wants to scratch around and find food. Am I close?

I Googled it. An air/gas company usually has it.

Ahhhh! I bet Air Liquide will have it - I will see what’s up in the morning if not then some propain gas would also work. Though rather explosive

Ok maybe not that… a neighbours dairy barn exploded Sunday night took 4 fire department to contain it. They lost 52 head, saved 140 odd head of cattle, lost the whole barn over 6million in damages . The farms around here are helping with the cattle, they need milking etc so every is pitching in to help. So I certainly don’t want do tempt fate here

I don’t worry about the larger hens but Marty is very wee… oh now I am freaking out worried. Maybe I should have left her up on the top - what’s a little poop? Think I will go out and put her up high…. Ok got to go move her

Posture Problem

I have been noodling on this and i need to get some pictures tomorrow. I think part of Gucci's issues may actually be her posture. Because of their headdresses Phyllis and Betty hold their heads up high. Check out these photos.

I feel like Gucci is not holding her head up high and that may be effecting her site as well. I need to get pictures tomorrow.

Yes mr Pom stands upright and holds his head up we he can see better. Is this something they learn to do? Maybe she is just young ???
