@BY Bob , I have no fear for you. You are a compassionate and emotionally intelligent man. You will talk with your Dad about your daughter (his granddaughter), maybe her wedding in Italy, reminisce about your chickens from childhood, and/or anything HE wants to talk about. Was there a project he helped you with when you were a child? I'm guessing you got some of your building skills from him?? Again, chat about anything he wants to, or pick his brain for some of the 'olde timey' knowledge that isn't common anymore. I don't know about you, but when I get to be 'old' (if I ever admit to that), I feel I will have earned the right to tell the same story 20 times without reproach, and chat about things I think are important, and complain ALL I want about how terrible youngsters are these days!

Oh, and @BY Bob : remember to take any criticism of you with a grain of salt, remember my last line:
complain ALL I want about how terrible youngsters are these days! Remember, to older folks, Different = bad in the next generation. [case in point: Elvis and his music was a bad influence, heavy metal became the next 'bad influence', then it was 'rap'. I'm so old now that I am no longer sure what is the new 'in' music to be classified as 'bad'.]

A Caturday Moment

In an attempt to cheer myself up last night i decided to take some drastic action and start mixing the Rascals with the big girls. I have numerous videos to share as the new girls came face to face with Aurora, Sydney, and Betty. Sadly you are all going to have to wait to see them as I have a family event today and won't have time to post them.

Here however is a little taste of what is to come as Éowyn decided to sniff Gucci up close. It is amazing the trust shown here.

I will be traveling 6 hours in Giana today. That usually makes me very happy. However my father will be the only other person in the car with me as I take him across the state to his oldest sister's birthday party.

If you do such things please pray for me. I have not spent 6 hours alone with my Dad in my life. I have no idea what we are going to talk about.

Safe journeys, how about the weather, the bright moon, how the traffic is….

I know what you mean, travelling long distances can be a trial
