Poor wee gal.

Did you see Manue’s reply? She had a molt hen similar situation.

I know I have had molting hens get very ill and need supportive care, but no bullying. Is there a possibility you can put Light in with her so that she is not alone?
Saw your post after I posted!
@lightm It appears their runs are next to each other with views, which is good for helping integration, and maybe Light in there would give her some physical closeness & touch (I know the Buckeyes like it for grooming, dustbathing, etc). Some partial view-blocker would be good, a place she can be out of view but still peck around, would help with her fear. They don't feel protected behind chickenwire because they can see through it.

I don’t seem to be needed anymore today. Jaffar is out there with his ladies, and pecked my foot, to remind me of the fact (His ladies!)
:( I think I will just eat all their meally worms, to show them off!!! :tongue
:sick
And I’m taking off this “I love my ladies “ chicken TShirt too! How humiliating to be outclassed by a runt rooster Jaffar! :rant

It sounded as if several of the tribe are going after Inky, so keeping her alone isolates her from them even more and there will be the same or worse difficulties in a new integration (@BY Bob wrote about that). Have you thought of splitting them all up, like giving Inky a friend or two, including Light (since they seem to get along), that might disrupt the overall pattern and give each group some cohesion and company?
Thank you for the suggestion. It is very sound [Light and Inky do get along]. The only problem is that the smaller run was only intended for babies (80 inch by 40 inch). We may look into building a third run next to the big run. (it will be three chicken runs in a row).
@Ponypoor You mentioned Light so I thought you'd be interested in this answer.

More good info. Thank you!

I will probably be absent for a few days. I can confirm my Ezzie is gone and how I missed her I do not know but when I found Ezzie I also found Crickets body. My father passed away a little after noon today. A word of warning to everyone, if you have not already please have your final wishes in writing so your next of kin is not left making impossible decisions and fighting with other family members in the process. Daddy for years told me verbally what he wanted, in situations like his. He never put it in writing and his brothers and sisters fought me and my brother tooth and nail last night. I now have to track down a copy of his burial insurance policy so I can begin funeral preparations, yet no one has a clue where it is.
