No new kitty pics, but stove is tempered and works wonderfully.

Night temps down into the 30s (no freezing yet) is definitely a good thing for ending the wildfires. Also means the apples should be harvested/processed soon.

That's Thing's problem too. As she's moulting, I'm going to have to wait until she's done to do anything about her crest at the moment. Her nails are also getting too long for practical scratching. Filing them (debating doing this outside against rocks/sidewalk vs inside with a metal nail file kinda thing)

I thought that when I've looked at pictures of Thing. I just wish Gucci would quit growing new ones. I trimmed her really well the last time. It's frustrating that I have to keep doing it.

There has been some discussion in science circles about the origins of the red wolf (and some of the other variations of wolves). One of those is that they started as a Grey wolf x coyote hybrid.

Still really really nice here! Going to be around 29c (84F) and mild over night, haven’t had frost yet which is unusual.

Nice for the horses and chickies, though so I am not complaining!
