I’m okay, just a little tired and stressed out. Hard to find sleep. Which is why I have my emotional support rooster here with me. I can nap later today with Jaffar. But I probably won’t.

I woke up with a migraine. Figured I would because of the storm. Doing better now; just fed the chooks inside the coop because of the wind.

Hello Friday people! It's grey and cold here, hoping for some rain this afternoon . Deer rut season has begun, we heard a stag calling very close yesterday night and early this morning. Feels very much like autumn !

I'm hearing chicken drama outside my window while having lunch : only two hens are laying this morning but of course they want to do it at the same time in the same place !

Here are some butts for Friday. I hope @BY Bob will have time to check his favorite holiday !

Two cute small butts, Merle and Piou-piou's ! (So happy she has a tail now) !

A digging butt- Nougat!

A molting butt, Blanche. It doesn't look that bad from behind but she has no tail left, just sticks. I'm not sure she will ever grow it back but she doesn't seem to mind

And another molting little butt. Chipie has lost half her long black tail feathers, and a lot of small beige and white ones too. She is acting tired and sleeps a lot but she eats well and screams as usual, so she must be ok!

Interesting though. Why is this guy sleeping with his rooster?
Answers:
1. He’s a loyal guy
2. He’s an experience of love, at a level that I have never explored before.
3. He manages my hens, )his hens) when I can’t!
4. He was a quick answer to prayer, when I got him. (That’s a beautiful short story, for another time)
5. Trained not to poop in the house
6. His personality lacks nothing
7. He earns his own peep peep!
