I've been watching Raven with her group of 5 now that she has them off the nest. She tries her hardest to be a good mom and keep them all together. There is that one though who is giving her fits and I find it amusing. If Raven thinks they need to take a break and wants them all under her, the little blue one wants to run around her or be on top of her. If she is digging up something and calling them over to eat, 4 are under foot and the blue one is standing back watching. She wants to take them all one way, it runs the opposite way, and she ends up having to turn around and bring the rest to go with it. If it in fact turns out to be a girl, I will have to keep it. I've not named them yet and I will not for a bit, but when the time comes it's definitely going to need a "trouble" name.

Posted this in the wrong forum lol.

Baby chicks are up early; they got up at 4:30. The light colored Cinnamon Queen is really loud and likes to stand on top of the brooder plate and chirp as loud as she can. I have to go in there and give them attention so she will be quiet. It's like she is yelling for me lol.
