Well, it has great bennies, though. Where else can you peck around all day, not get in trouble for being peckish, no getting yelled at for ruffling feathers, and no sanctions for Ba-gawking your head off! You can hang out at the water cooler all day and gossip, go for a "bath" - AT YOUR LEISURE, no co-workers yelling at you for eating sardines at work (though you might have to fight them off to keep it!), preening and beauty rest/naps are allowed on company time, and someone ELSE has to shovel the S#&$ out of the house. And, the snack bar is always free!!!:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

Funny you should ask that. That photo made me think of the bad boys that girls go nuts for...only it is the female equivalent (with Betty) meanwhile Phyllis is the aloof femfetale that all the boys go gaga over! They are quite the pair - opposites, yet somehow they seem to be good friends & make it work!!!
They are spending more time together these days. I like watching the two of them hanging out together. Betty, the bad boy, and Phyllis, the heartbreaker.

This is teddy. My opr roo. He likes fluffy butts.
He is a handsome boy...looks like he is molting, though. Would love to see a pic of him post-molt with his glorious tail restored (I'm partial to Roos, the much maligned and mis-understood sweeties!) And an Orp. no less! 🥰

Welcome to our thread (@BY Bob proprieter extraodinaire!)

He has a link to his 'primer' in his postings, you may want to read that to get up to speed on his flock....or you may want to take the leisurely path and slowly read the whole thread to 'catch up' while also being present in the here and now. Lots of great stories, and LOTS of great information...I'm not quite finished with all I've missed yet myself, but working my way through is SO worth the read!

Thankyou thankyou thankyou. Its good to bee here. I'll have to give it all a good read. Unfortunately teddy is now living the country life somewhere in the middle of Iowa. I'll have to ask and see if they have any newer pics. This ones my favorite. He seems to be checking out the hens butt. Lol.

From day 1 my belly has always been Nino's favorite spot for a nap. When Kathy was young it was her favorite spot to lay her head and take a nap.
