I caught another picture of her channeling her inner French hen. (Christmas is coming...)

@ManueB I sure hope you do not find this offensive. 😬 If so, I apologize.
Oh, I'm so disappointed, Sydney :( A mom, even, setting bad examples...and I thought only Hattie (the construction worker) and Phyllis (the fem-fatale) smoked.:th

I can buy you some nicorette gum to help with the cravings?????

The Beret looks good on you, though :)

You gave Sydney a cigarette? Shameless! She deserves more respect than that (what is this thread coming to?) :barnie
I did not! I think she got it from Hattie.

Don't worry, i'm the first to make fun of french people🤣. As far as I'm concerned the country where I was born is just a geographical place on the map. I belong to human kind (and not always proud of it!).

I'm afraid @ChicoryBlue is right though - parisiennes don't wear berets, it's mostly a male thing from a generation born before 1960 (though they do make every now and then a come-back as a short lived hipster trend). Interestingly enough one of the symbol of the french republic is a rooster- le coq gaulois !

Sydney should aim at something like this :

I notice the shoes are Italian........

Well, if we had not got help from the "rosbif" and the US the collaborationist gouvernement would have endured. And if some people resisted, others did horrible things. I'll stop there, it could get borderline political 🙂.

Brune isn't well this morning. Either I didn't take all the egg out yesterday or she's having consecutive laying difficulties. I gave her a warm bath and failed at getting some calcium in her. She's inside the house in the pet carrier with a hot water bag.

Oh no. Poor lady. :hugs :hugs for you both.

I went with a reminder that I had told them day 1 that I was concerned the car wasn’t safe because it had been knocked out of alignment and that they had agreed (and I had it in writing) that the alignment would be covered. I am reasonably sure they will pay up but it will take probably another week of me getting angry over the phone.

Tell them you will require them to pay the total bill for a car rental, and if you ^have to take them to court* a good lawyer will also make them pay for pain, suffering, and aggrevation you have endured at their hands. You pay your bill in a timely fashion - they need to respond & repair in a timely fashion!

Do you happen to know a lawyer that would be willing to just give them a call?????

My young boy -one hatched by my co-broodies. I wasn't going to keep ANY new boys.....however, he is a good boy, is sweet, well built (I think he is stunningly handsome...but I'm a tad bit biased), calm, and *so far* good around the girls.❤️❤️❤️

Don't you just love the casual way it is hanging from her beak! I'm very proud of this one.
