Sorry, but I think Diana is one good looking chicken !Diana, be still my heart!
My ex sister-in-law nearly crashed in a car park because of a huntsman. And many years ago I was taking my son somewhere, we get in the car and he let out a blood-curdling scream. I involuntarily leapt out of the driver’s seat to find there was a huntsman on the back seat. I hate to think what would have happened if we’d actually been driving! We took DH’s car whilst MIL unleashed a tin of surface spray in mine.I would scream and wreck the car. I almost did once before when one came down from the visor. I check now.
I said cars. But Ford makes great trucks also. (But Dodge Ram is better)What about trucks?

So sweet! I love when one comes over to visit me of course but I also cherish the time spent just watching them be chickens, it so peaceful. You captured that beautifully in this photo.
Those are some very filled out bottomsSorry I’m a day late, but I did attempt to get a couple fluffy butt pics.

HA! I love that last photo of Truly, hello sweet girl!BRRRR! Chilly Pony Sunday
Just waiting for the snow to start up, everyone was just hunkered down in a stall, this rapid change in the weather is hard on everyone. I sat with the chooks outside for a bit about 20min, at first they didn’t want to come out then they came out for a bit but decide nope - it’s too cold! So we all came back inside.
He horses a bit more stoic and just eat - they are eating machines!

Beautiful but alsoHaven't posted much over the last few days. Between work and keeping everyone warm, haven't extra time. As of this morning, the chickens are getting VERY vocal. They're none too happy about staying in the coop. I've been opening the hatch for them before going to work, but based upon the lack of bird tracks, they haven't been venturing forth. Temps have ranged from just below 0F (-17 to -20c range) to upper 20sF (maybe -2C). Feathers are coming FAST, and it looks like no more are dropping beyond any that were already loosened. No bird pics, but some other interesting shots from the cold.
Friday had extra frostView attachment 3321391
