I’m going to say this the best way I can.
My chickens are my family, I trust them more than most humans. They help me with the garden, and grass is always greener, they love me unconditionally, and they remove all the bugs from my yard (sometimes I even get an egg from them) but I never wanted chickens for eggs. I like the fact that they clean themselves with dirt (go figure) I could go on and on but I chose not to. :frow

The elusive, wild, North American version of the giant land chicken… clearly a juvenile… ooooh I wants to go snuggle him! I wonder if bison like butt scritches? I had a few albertan friend suggest I branch out into raising these guys…
They’re awesome 😊

These are Wood Bison - threatened species which are tracked up here.

I keep my distance hahaha 😳

Well said!

Hello everybody. Today's highs were 54 F and I was able to take the chickens down to the front yard. The cat was playing with the leaves, hiding in bushes and the cat even managed to climb the pear tree. Now, I haven't really been active here because me and my family are getting ready to go to upstate Connecticut for Thanksgiving. The only problem is is that my home laptop doesn't work so I have to use this device. I can't bring this device so I might have to ask my uncle (if he can) to fix my laptop. So I will not be active on this account for the next few days. The good thing is is that I can wake up early and I might send you a message here on how the weather is like here and in Connecticut. :wee I will still find a way to message on this thread and few other people. Hopefully I've fried your turkey (because I'll definitely fry turkey this Thanksgiving because my dad likes frying turkey and also it is better than baking it in the oven, which we tried one year) and I'll see you on Sunday or Monday.
Awww so wonderful kitty and chickies 😊

We are officially in New York. I was going to show you pictures of the sunrise and the sky that was still dark but somehow the phone is charging backwards? I don't know but we crossed the bridge and I'll update you all soon. Google says it's 36 F but the touch screen on the vehicle says 44 F?
