So my first little flock is coming up on 20 weeks next week. This started me on a photo hunt to create a baby/ grown up side by side. Turned pretty cute 🥰 Crazy how fast they grow up!
Brownie: 2 weeks / 19 weeks

I love how the stance is almost identical in both photos!
And, yes, they grow up way too fast!❤️❤️

Me too - I am not well and just checking in now is taxing to me. I just want to go back to bed :(
Please do - maybe have a hot toddy first?
Me three. Going back to bed now.
Sounds like your 'special concoction' is in order.

hope both of you feel better in the morning (I know, no magic pill for it to be gone overnight, but hope a good, alcohol induced enhanced deep slumber may help your body fight the baddies!

Aww, I'm sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. If I give you the Happy Sqwiggles Dance, will it make you smile?

Today is 38 F and dropped down to 37 F. I think it might snow this evening. Tomorrow, it'll continue to snow and conditions may get worse around morning so they might as well close schools and make it an asynchronous day.
Grandma asks, "What do you hate about the cold weather?"
I don't like how cold it gets. Also, I don't like the condensation build-up on my window. In PA, there's a window company called Renewal by Andersen and they make fibrex windows that they say is better than wood and vinyl windows and don't bring in the cold and especially no condensation.

So I was supposed to be sent home with a abdominal wrap but when it came time to leave they could not find one. Me and mom rigged one up this evening using the wrap that keeps her ice packs on her lower back. That and the ice are a huge relief. Mom is also a lpn, so she has insisted I do deep breathing exercises, controlled coughing and walking to the living room and back. What she could not prepare me for was that first sneeze. It hurt, and I cried.

It is mostly underground for safety in case of tornadoes. 6’ tall, 6’x8’ floor. Will hold the two of us on folding chairs that recline plus a cat, a little snug but tolerable. Without the chairs there are reported cases of as many as 19 people plus a dog crammed in one this size. That would be incredibly tight, but it meant they all survived being in the direct path of an F5 tornado.

We live in a 32’ fifth wheel travel trailer, so needed somewhere safe to go during severe storms just in case.
storms.

This gives more specs and shows a picture of the shelter out of the ground.

Thanks for sharing. This is very interesting. I guess it is bigger than it looks on the picture. A great thing to have.

A plastic mirror is recommended also.
Make sure if you use a mirror that you place it where the sun won’t shine directly on it. I saw a post where the shavings in someone’s coop almost caught fire because of reflected light from a mirror they had put up.

Glad she thinks Jaffar is doing well. 🤗
