How can it be snowing in 52 F weather and then the next day, it is in the teens? Must explain the extreme temperature drop on Friday night... You're going to give me that 12 F as revenge for saying I hate cold weather. Do you all think this is normal or is it just me? I have never experienced this kind of temperatures and weather before.
It’s the epoxyclypse happening, you know that!

You're going to give me that 12 F as revenge for saying I hate cold weather. Do you all think this is normal or is it just me? I have never experienced this kind of temperatures and weather before. It has been a while since I've been exposed to 50 degree weather so maybe I should live Friday to the fullest.
Well likely what is happening is, the morning temps will be cold enough for 'wet' snow (around 34 - 36F we get this all the time here), then as it warms up the precip will change to rain :)

Here we can have 3 seasons in 3 hrs! Snow in the morning, then changes to rain and after a couple hrs the sun will come out and be a lovely spring temperature!

Of course in Alberta in the foothills of the mountains they get Chinooks. Imagine if you will, the 6am morning temperature is -20C and there is a good 10cm of fluffy fresh snow. Then the winds kick in around 8am off the mountains, and they just howl! The wind creates its own friction which heats the air causing the temperatures to rise, so that by noon it is +20C and the snow has all but melted!

I have experienced this first hand - and it's the most crazy thing ever!

At any rate, as my mother says 'can't change the weather'!

Bernie: My goodness, this servant is getting bold!

Diana: Yes, she generally is very good, but every once and a while she steals our Cabbage, and a few other kitchen goods.

Bernie: How do you tolerate that in a servant!

Diana: Well, good ones are SO hard to find these days, and aside from the few indiscretions, she is generally fit for duty, so I pretend not to notice.

Bernie: But that was OUR cabbage.

Diana: As a member of the Royal Family, you would be wise to learn when to look the other way, and when to make it an issue. This is not one of those times to make an issue out of it. She did at least give us some of the prime leaves!

Bernie: (under her breathe) Bet that isn't what Aurora would say!
:lau :gig

That was great! Seems Bob is encouraging everyone to be a Bard! Love it!

(@RoyalChick Don't let Aurora know about the Great Cabbage Caper).

Cold snap coming to central TX Thursday. Lety is making preparations for the chooks, dogs, and plants. View attachment 3352913
Oh no - that's terrible - everyone seems to be getting this cold snap end of week I guess. 16F is pretty cold even here that is darn right chilly. Sure hope Lety is ok.

OK well hope all is good in Japan - loved the snow photos, that was awesome!
