She understands and isn't big on Christmas. The weather is in the 30s today so I am sure she has the pups out. Tomorrow will be warmer for her so I imagine she'll have the chooks out for a bit. My kids are use to my travels so we celebrate whenever we can get together. It works out well for Anna (granddaughter) because she will get another Christmas day. The longer I am here the more I shop online for her.

Glad the weather is getting better for her, I think here it’s supposed to get warmer by Wednesday.

Careful with that online shopping hahahaha, once I learned about Amazon and the fact they deliver to my door I was a lost cause! I am sure your granddaughter will be most appreciative though

I mainly now use the pine stall pellets for cat litter and those are still pretty reasonable at TSC.

My niece uses those for her kitties

I get them at the feed mill for her.

I use play sand - I get it at Home Depot or Lowes.

I’m all confused between play sand and construction sand or builders sand, and I think I’ve seen instructions / recommendations on BYC for using one and not the other in dust baths. Which do you think is best?

Play Sand is just sand, any of the other sands I see have concrete mixtures in them. There may be other types of sand / dirt / gravel…. I would read the label on the bag before buying.

Well I am beginning to get not too happy. The leghorns were supposed to be here at 10 am. I admit I was a little wary that delivery was on Christmas eve but they insisted they had to travel through Pikeville today anyway on their way for another delivery. No chickens and it is almost 1. I tried to contact them a hour ago and found I've been blocked on messenger. I feel I've been scammed and thankfully only lost my deposit and not the full price. If they do not show up today which I am now very much doubting I will just have to stalk Rural King and TSC for leghorn chicks.

Can they be reported in marketplace as fraudulent?

They've been closed in since Tuesday night. They all wanted OUT now that it's warmed up.
