What’s hoarded in behind the scaffolding? That pipe got the end caps on? Looks like snow might have got in. Love the office trailers huge windows! I will take the office on the end haha!

In that: the first number is whatever the Celsius is, then multiply by 2 and add 30 and you get close to accurate Fahrenheit?

Yes that is correct. It’s not 100 percent accurate but close enough to give an idea of temps.

I like the phrase "lifter," that is pretty much what it feels like! My setup with the energizer in the barn out to the fence is similar to yours. I do have it on a GFI circuit I think, still gotta check, but it has not tripped it yet though there have been zaps.

What about weasels? 8" seems high for the first strand for those guys.

Hmmmm yes I see what you mean, I haven’t had issues with them - except I’m the past one killed my pet bunnies

I don't know why I've been avoiding this thread lately but I promise you I'm not mad at anyone. I've just been knitting. Like Grandma has been doing.
I haven't gotten the chance to upload photos of recent chicken and cat photos but I'll probably do that tomorrow.
What I've been wanting to talk about is that today has been good and bad. High of 54 F is the good part but until 10 A.M., it has been foggy and it hasn't cleared up and it is still foggy outside, even though it's dark. It was also raining a little around 4 P.M. and I meant to take the chickens down to the front yard an idea that popped into my head around 10 A.M., but what was I doing? Knitting! And I regret not taking them down but I'll probably do that tomorrow around noon.

I’ll take a new pair of woollen socks in that case I can’t knit at all, mum and my late grandmother do and mum quilts…. My thing is baking

Congratulations to Lady Featherington and Valerie! Fingers crossed for Rebecca and her mama hen, whose name I am forgetting at the moment. This is the hen she was worrying about getting cold, righf?

Yes her name is Mama Hen - I wait in anticipation every day for an update .

I moved my one camera so I could see in the nest boxes, seems Marty is nest making in the ground floor box - hmmmm.

Hard telling what that is. 4 feet of snow gets everywhere

Momma Hen gets called many names, several I cannot say on here depending on the day. She is most often referred to as Momma Hen or the "Ole Bat". Her actual name is Chicken. Yup, you heard me right, Momma Hens name is Chicken. Rosie named her years ago when she was really into the How to Train your Dragons phase. On one of the snin-off series her favorite character Tuffnut had a pet chicken named Chicken. When Rosie tamed Momma she got the honor of naming her. I should never have let her do it, I knew better.
