Roof situation update: 15 ft of facia siding needs replaced. Rain supposed to come tomorrow. I’m going to cover the whole area with plastic, until I can get some help reroofing the area. It’s not a small job.

I hope you are able to find help to fix your roof once the rains let up. We ended up having to replace about a 10 square foot patch of shingles this spring after the rains hit that flooded the stalls.

I used Google to locate zoos near me. There aren’t many, and those there are only have snakes and goats and bunnies. They are more like petting zoos!
The only zoo with actual predator type animals would be the Bronx zoo which is not only a long way away but across many big rivers and highways.
I think I have to rule out hyena - though those round ears really have me puzzled!

Those round ears are truly BEAR like. The flat back and raised head don't fit so well.

I have a new layer I just got these 3 eggs this morning and got a very light blue one from a new layer dont know whom though.

I hope you are able to find help to fix your roof once the rains let up. We ended up having to replace about a 10 square foot patch of shingles this spring after the rains hit that flooded the stalls.

I’m looking at about 15sqft of metal sheeting and lots of wood removal and repair. 15X10 area

Jaffar was crowing earlier this morning, but he seems wiped out now. I brought him inside to warm him up. He’s moving kinda slow now too!

fed Jaffar some steak and some meally worms. Then he started to cocorico! (That’s a good sign)

I hate to say it but someone could have had a pet hyena that they let loose. Stranger things have happened. We've had 2 emus loose in Central PA.

Interesting! I also love how Betty gets a little more bold and Aurora backs off when you tell Betty she can partake. It’s as if they understood you! Perhaps they did?! Smart girls!

You never know right? They hear a lot of things from me and Aurora claims to speak human so.
