What are they doing! Aurora is in a neat box. Betty is on the far roost. Sydney is on the high roost. Hartir is where she always is, on the ground.

Thru are crazy.

Nestbox sleeping is the norm here now, look how these two fit like yin and yang. Butters and Popcorn it is, I think. Popcorn will sometimes start out in the roosting area and then go into the nestbox, sometimes the other way ‘round. Once I saw her booted out from the roosting platform, pushed (“encouraged” by the “head-under-rear-fluff” method), into the nestbox.

Here’s how they started out on Monday night, everybody in the pool! Who knows why?

All my chooks are doing good. They ran to the gate when they heard my car.
I walked them to the coop, pulled out the bag of meally worms and fed them in the run. Time for bed!

I find it cute that the kitty and the chickies are ok being around each other. My cat is afraid of my chickens!

I have no idea what they saw or heard but everyone went on high alert and were warning each other with very quiet growls.
