Not a single one of my Light Brahmas have ever gone broody. They are hatchery stock...and despite their size, they as so laid back that they are at the bottom of the pecking order.

I certainly wouldn't mind if one (or all of them - only have 2 atm), but I have had some previously (4) that never went broody, either. Again:

I think this guy isn’t a true hatchery, but he seems to have good reviews on the Ontario Poultry chat forum.

Though the one in Quebec has terrible reviews from various persons… I of course take online stuff with a grain of salt, but have to start somewhere!

unfortunately, even in captivity would probably be too 'wild' to be a lap bird.

I Sort of Lost Phyllis Tonight

Roosting drives me nuts!

Be careful of your headlines. “I lost Phyllis tonight” scared me. My blood pressure jumped up higher than RC’s roosts!

I notice he edited it to say “sort of” hahaha
