Today was lazy. Didn't get started until 2, but fixed our pop door and improved the ramp and fixed the latch on the shed door, so now our girls can be properly locked in if we're away. (And the expensive lawn equipment...but what's more important?) Then we moved the little coop they used when they were still little. Underneath, henbit is growing thick! I guess it's from me tossing it in to them. Pulled it up for a tasty treat...the girls especially we're very pleased! View attachment 3415760

More than Thing....PITA and Maizie were too. Sunshine: warm....wind: cold. They were at it a while, so I'm pretty sure they enjoyed it.

Got my silkie eggs plus one extra and 2 extra barnyard mix brown eggs all in the incubator. I cant wait. They will also have 5 toes she sent pics of some she just hatched. They are so cute

The old pool ladder was on our back porch when we moved in. We stuck it in the run last week but they'd have nothing to do with it. Stuck the 2x4 on it today and it was promptly used. I guess the plastic was too weird for them.

I had moved to frittata rather than Quiche (easier without a crust) and I love them all. Recent favorites (all with lots of cheese):
- Bacon, leek and potato
- Red pepper and goats cheese
- Broccoli and bacon
OK now I am hungry!

I have been experimenting with tofu, stir fry vegetables and seafood lately. Many recipes and sauces have been used. (Even oyster sauce) I’m not going the kimchi route just yet.
