Oh I am going to have to pretend to have my head buried in the sand for a bit. The worst enabler, the one that lives with me grandma. Just informed me that she thought it was time I fill up that incubator. I could do it, I could fill every slot in that 42 egg turner with eggs less then 5 days old now that I'm averaging almost a dozen a day. Repeat after me everyone, DO NOT DO IT, DO NOT DO IT.

Soooooo did your put any eggs in the incubator??

I went and spent way too much time looking at all the photos there - ok well not all but many hahaha such great photos! I wonder how they choose?

I do that too and I have often wondered the same thing.

Leg is getting there. Still weird spots of numbness, tingling, etc. There isn’t pain most of the time unless I move it wrong or accidentally put a little weight on it when trying to change clothes and things like that. Will have my appointment next week to find out about starting PT.

That is Jasmine, I have always considered her my most “exotic” looking. Until I started seeing pictures in BYC of others that look so much like she does. Lol

Love how they are just flaked out in the sun haha - I will never forget the first time my wee ones did that - I thought they were dying! hahahaha! I called my niece who already had chickens and asked her 'my chicks just went and threw themselves down on the ground and flung out their wings!! What the heck is going on?? do you think I should take them to the Vet?' Of course she just laughed at me and told me ' Aunt Kelly they are sunning themselves - you worry too much get a grip'.....
What did I know then? Horses ya - chickens?? no!

Ha! So thankful I happened to read about this tendency to be sun struck early in my chicken keeping or ai would have freaked out. It almost like they melt.

We have snow here today and the girls wasn't even attempting too go outside. I wasn't going to let them anyway so just as well.
I have added the hand warmers inside their coop again this morning. That was a great help from @RoyalChick

Wow! just wow! You be very careful of ice, you're not used to this snow and ice I am betting - you be very careful, and don't shovel any of it - let someone else do that - or let it melt. OK stay warm also
