Jaffar fell off his perch in the chickens room and slept on the floor. It’s dark at night here. I made my apologies and promised to make him a special breakfast. Poor guy just isn’t right after that fight. No energy left in him today

It could take up to a week for him to get back to normal - remember he has run a marathon - he needs rest and good energy food. And some love from his hooman slave

Alright, the surprise I have for you all is that I am celebrating Grandma's birthday today and so I'll have a thread created for this beloved chicken that you can go on and celebrate. The thread will not be made until I get photos of Grandma in her birthday suit.

@Ponypoor NOV stands for National Oilwell Varco. If you're an American service tech it means Never On Vacation, if you refer to our Norway office it means Norwegians on Vacation. If you're a drilling company in the states it means No Other Vendor

I see there is a whole slew of them in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Will have to owe tax this laptop doesn't have many chickie pics on it.

He’s eating and drinking. Coco is by his side. She’s quite vocal this morning, but no cocorico from Jaffar yet

He needs rest Alex - these things take lots of time. It's only been a couple days. just keep giving him the good stuff: Nurtidrench water, good food and your TLC.

What are you drinking?
Mr P thought the girls needed to try the pee puddle that dripped from the wheelbarrow from my doing stalls, he was scratching and splashing in the puddle calling the girls over, surprisingly there were a few takers, ewwwww! Rose don’t drink that! Wonder what HRH Aurora would say to this?!

Chickens are stuck with their natural genders and no, they do NOT want to be another gender.

Actually, gender roles in the animal kingdom, especially in some
species, are frequently more fluid than in humans.

Got home last night. Woke at 5 and getting caffeinated. Supposed to be sunny and low 80s. A beautiful day to be outside with the animals

Day started cold but definitely gorgeous in Central TX today.

Poor little dude. Give him a lower spot tonight, and keep up the TLC. Especially sugar/honey water and electrolytes. And YOU need to try to stay calm. When you are stressed that affects him too.

Hmmmm...I think Rose gave it a 9.7 out of 10. Well seasoned, undertones of piney notes, slightly acidic, rich intense flavor!
