Sorry to hear your troubles but glad a resolution is on the way.Yea the said my stomach was inflammed, I have a lesion they took a biopsy of and a few more other places they took biopsy. I have a unusually narrow esophagus so they put in a balloon because I choke easily on food and drinks. I will go over biopsy results in a month with my digestive dr. But usually I can get them ofline before then.
Wow that wee one has a set of booties! Two for Tuesday View attachment 3447518
Where they normal?Tomatilla laid two eggs today
Well I for one can’t wait to see them hatchedI have to tell myself not to get attached to these chicks as soon as they hatch. Unless something falls through they are already sold to my sisters co-worker. Now that I said that, all 3 cochin eggs, they will hatch, be blue and all be pullets. In fact, seeing as how they should leave at just a few days old you wait and see. I will one day hear that at least 2/3rds of them end up being pullets. In the meantime, timer on the incubator just hit 2 days left. Nothing is happening right now, yet, every time I walk in the living room I stare into the viewing window for a minute or two. You know, if you stare long enough you can make yourself think you see a wiggling egg every now and then.
Was wondering where you got toHey everyone! I haven't been on since St Pat's! I don't know how time got so far away from me. The husband is working another employee's shift right now, getting us up BEFORE the chickens. Early riser I am NOT. So I'm just operating in a fog. No telling how long this will last. I'm not happy...but we'll muddle thru. Happy Tuesday.View attachment 3447461

In a response to @WhoDatChick above I alluded to family challenges recently. I have decided to share. You are all so wonderful I feel I need to do so.
I will not be posting much on the flock this weekend as I am with my daughter, her husband, and my 3 month old granddaughter, Eve.View attachment 1886175
Little 7 lb Eve (the same size as Hattie) has a hole in her heart and will be having open heart surgery tomorrow around lunchtime here. If all goes well they will close the hole and she will grow up a normal little girl. The surgery has a high success rate but it's still my little grandbaby. I will post again so everyone knows the outcome but I wanted my chicken family to know.
Its been a crazy couple of months. Hopefully all goes well and things start to move forward again for us.
