If you take a close up for us all maybe we can suggest something or maybe some has had that same thing before.

One of my young Roos once tore his nail off, it bled like crazy and was extremely sore, it eventually grew back.

Hope to get her outside today. Had a chaotic evening yesterday. Cut grass until 7 then I see that some of the Sebrights had flown over the fence and couldn't figure out how to get back in. That took a while to round them up. I had let one of the mamas and her babies free range in the yard and when it came time to roost she wanted to go roost with her tribe. I caught her first then the chicks one at a time. Later I realized that had I let her and the babies in the pen with the tribe I could have caught them easier. Live and learn!

Those Sebrights seem to be quite the characters!

Good morning GtC hope it’s nice there - it’s sunny here but darn chilly! I am wishing for some hot weather!

Weather whining tax
Everyone is out on Mont Poopmore, showing their fluffy butt’s,

and then sunbathing,

the Turkey Vultures flying overhead caused a bit of a stir. And just now a Pilates Woodpecker flew over sqwackimg up a storm and that set everyone’s alarms going!

They're fun to watch but not easy to catch or touch. The young Silky crosses are very people friendly and easy-going.

I saw the first turkey vulture here last week (S. Oregon) and I think I saw a swallow. It's been so dang cold and rain/snow FOREVER this March...and now into April....can't go outside much to do anything - squit, squit, squit...mud...mud....mud...

We're also having sun but it is so windy it doesn't even feel hot outside.
I guess the 45 F and the 15 mph wind explains it...

Weather tax. Grandma doesn't like getting her feathers ruffled... by the wind.
