Everyone got a taste.

Later we went back out. This time I armed her with bananas.View attachment 3462062Silver, not taking from the fingers....yet

Temps hit mid 60s (first time this year) wind was blowing hard, but the SUN! Kids enjoyed the scavenger hunt (teen/just beyond teen stomach) of Gatorade, microwave popcorn, gum, jerky, trail mix, etc snack/lunch packets hidden around. However, I think the best moment was this

Looks like a lovely day!!
I will have to put an apron on a couple of my silkies (Curly and Marty), Mr P is really a bit too big to be crawling up on them.

Have you thought of using one on Belladonna??

I love that apron @lightm has with one of her hens ( was wondering where she got it!).
I've though about it. I haven't had time to make one and figuring out how to fasten it WITHOUT elastic (I'm allergic to polyester, with includes elastic) is still in the puzzle box. I am probably going to slather her back in bag balm for some protection. Maybe the roos will give her a break if they don't like the feel of it on their feet.

Yes. Instant decapitation would be the best thing to do.
Can confirm my 4 yr old eats all candy this way so 100% the way to go, he is a candy expert!
My chicks are coming to the last stretch! I have picked a time slot for Thursday between 1 and 2:30 to get them🥰

Hope they can accommodate this time for me, it’s a good 3hr drive for me!
Yay!!!!!!!! Excited for you!!! Happy chick dance 💃

Thats A good idea. I have some bag balm I can slather on my girls. I have aprons but dont know how to get them on them without stressing them out.

Is Maizie lower on the 'totem pole'?

I find mine that are tend to 'bite/peck' harder. Like they need to do it hard and fast to get anything. With multiple attempts at hand feeding - especially if you can get them away from the pack, I have found mine get less 'aggressive' with the fingers/hand.

EDIT to clarify: Very bottom ones tend to be hesitant, like yours, lower middle tend to 'bite/peck' hard.

make the saddle part as usual, including the 'sleeve' for the elastic, but replace elastic with stitched bias tape OR a stitched 'tube' of fabric, and put a couple of snaps on it for adjustment. If you make the 'sleeve' wide enough on the saddle, might be able to get snaps to fall into sleeve area when centered.

I suspect not good. I've seen the decline in driving ability and THOUGHT/awareness of what is going on around you when you drive, due to the reliance on self - parallel parking cars, front and side warning alarms, and lots of cameras. In and of themselves, none of these things are bad, but I see them being used as a crutch, not a tool, and, I think, therein lies the problem. ?No?

Completely agree with you and @MaryJanet on this.

My car is old fashioned and has no cameras at all. I try not to use GPS as much as I can. I hate autofill in any email client...

How about a chicken song for tax. I like it.
