I have two of these beauties named Snicker and Doodle. They do look like Crested Legbars/ Roadrunners. They lay the bluish green eggs upper right hand corner. No idea why Alchemist Farms calls them Azure Eggers maybe they mix something else in and then backcrosses? Beautiful birds super friendly and inquisitive.

Mugshot Monday.

Today I found Parmesan acting a little weird. More like her leg was acting weird.

She was hopping on one foot and then she suddenly had pain in both of her legs and from there, she refuses to stand up. I would leave her alone for 30 minutes to an hour, then a few hours and after that she still stays in the same spot.

AND GRANDMA REFUSES TO STOP CRYING!!!
She really wants to go outside but we were busy today so we couldn't. Stop crying. There's always tomorrow.

Mugshot Monday
I came out in search of mugshots but made the mistake of giving them the rest of the leftovers from the restaurant lunch.
So this is the best I got.
Eli is more assertive at grabbing food (sometimes out of Bernie’s beak) but then she insists on stopping to kill it and often loses her prize.
Babs on the other hand is more diffident in grabbing, but once she has it she runs like fury and swallows whole on the go. Kind of a drive-thru model.
Steak, eggs, salami, bacon and bread was enjoyed by all. They are not so keen on black olives.
Eli wore green to the feast.

Hey forgot to ask, how are your lovely ladies today? no more sniffling?

No signs anything was ever wrong. It is like it never happened except for Betty fall to the bottom of the pecking order.

These 2 are spending a lot of time together now.
