She bit me once today already!Hey young man behave or I will sic xzit on you![]()
It's wonderful. But when you realize you either get a little too cold inside or way too hot with the heater or a sweater, then it's not pleasant. We love snow! Right @Kris5902 ? It's wonderful![]()
Not from your complaints it isn't. My crew is pretty over it too. When it started raining, they stayed out. When it was starting turn to snow, they questioned the merits of staying out. When it fully turned, they (those who hadn't already declared enough and headed) hot footed it into the coop. There were some surprising roost choices tonight, too. Thing was on top of the nest boxes, Silver and PITA snuggled up together, and 4 of the younger crowd roosted together on a roost usually empty (Nox, Mera, Primula, and Pippa). We love snow! Hmmm has she eaten eggs before? Glad her leg is betterCould be. Or Buttercup coukd be eating them; she had egg on her head recently. Her leg seems to have returned to normal. She’s laying an egg about every second day. Not as prolific as when she first started this year, but she seems healthy.
Awwww she is a darling, some of us have lots of bedtime drama, we lament about it here often...Abigail made sure she got her spot on the perch today. View attachment 3465499
Look bad birds! But they sure do get food motivated I know about that.I wear 2 pairs of pants but they always find the thinnest spot and it hurts lol.
Wait till you see where someone actually laid an egg!!I love this girl!!
Sir crows-a-lot must be my neighbours Roo! It doesn't shut up!.Sir Crows-A-Lot, Lady Bukkingdale, Duchess of Preen, Earl of Spurs, Lady Flufficoats (for feathered feet) (these are mostly terrible, I know)

Sleep tonight. Starting tomorrow, you're Mama Hen and the babies will have you up checking on them (even if your silkies decide to claim them).Yep evil white stuff as Kris calls it hahaha.
I am sure we will get more crappy weather, I hope I can get the chicks situated before that just a few more hours!
And I also have those in the bator at my friend's place....
Hate winter personally, but I live and work where there is lots of it unfortunatelyIt's wonderful. But when you realize you either get a little too cold inside or way too hot with the heater or a sweater, then it's not pleasant.
It snowed over here and I wore short sleeved shirts for almost every day of winter.
The snow was beautiful while it lasted. The wind? It ruined the chance for aerial photography.
