I woke up this morning, my hubby had fed and let the chooks out. I heard Hades crowing alot but nothing from Zeus, who crows all the time, so I went out there to check on him. I found Zeus and stayed there until he cocorico for me a couple of times. The ladies were on me so he acted like he was gonna charge but didn't. Such a weird chook morning. He is still not crowing alot today

She never made a sound while the vet was examining her. She is a tough lady with a strong will to live. Everyone at the clinic remarked how calm she is, even with the yappy dogs in the waiting room she remained cool and calm. View attachment 3467219

You need to have some of her offspring. Such a wonderful hen like that - you will want to pass her genetic down! I hope that the Vet is able to fix the twist so it stays straight in the splint/cast.
